I have a new found respect for anyone who's done a blog sale. The picture taking, the photo editing, the description of each product...man...I'm exhausted!

Dang, Resha...do you need any more lip gloss? Seriously? Ummmm...yea..I do! So Rock & Republic had their lovely 50% off sale again, and despite not having the super coveted Call Me blush available (F#@K!), I took advantage of the savings anyway. This time I picked up five of their Luxe Lip Glosses (I already had 'Mistress') and I seriously love them all.

I'm so excited! I reached out to this gorgeous young lady to do a guest FOTD for my blog and she happily and beautifully obliged. I love her looks and wanted to show her off so here she is, with her spin on MAC's upcoming holiday collection "A Tartan Tale". She was inspired by the promo pic and in my opinion...she rocked it!

True story: I was randomly (and I mean, super randomly) looking at this Tracy Anderson video and noticed a product being used on her called Prtty Peaushun ($36 - pronounced Pretty Potion) and being the product junkie that I am, it stuck out to me. Seriously, a week later I got an email from the creator herself (Bethany Karlyn), asking if I'd like to try it. I couldn't believe the coincidence! Anyway, here we are...I've been testing this product for about two weeks and here are my thoughts.

After months of saving up, weeks of feverish anticipation, and "Hmmm, should I buy these Louboutin's instead?"...I buckled down and realized that I'd have way more fun with a super dope camera than a sexy pair of heels I couldn't sleep, shower, or run in -- and for the price, I better be able to do all of these things in those shoes! I've always wanted a DSLR, from way back in the day when my friend Anna used to post amazing photos in her flickr account from her sexy little Canon Rebel. I've been using Canon's all my "point-n-shoot" life, and I've always loved them and felt a strong sense of loyalty to the brand. I considered Nikon for a second, but realized I'm way more familiar with Canon. I'm one of those people who, when it comes to a big purchase -- I like to wait. I wait until a version comes out that SCREAMS at me, and finally in 2010 the Canon EOS 60D ($1399.99 $1266.00) was banging on my window like BUY ME! The articulating screen is really what did it. I have that same kinda screen on my current Powershot A620 and I know first hand how important it is for getting really good shots, and for video.
