I'm so excited! I reached out to this gorgeous young lady to do a guest FOTD for my blog and she happily and beautifully obliged. I love her looks and wanted to show her off so here she is, with her spin on MAC's upcoming holiday collection "A Tartan Tale". She was inspired by the promo pic and in my opinion...she rocked it!

I wish someone would have told me this movie The Blind Side was a tear-jerker because I'm about to cry off all my Maleficent makeup! Woooo *fans self* I'm a sucker for touching movies like this. Anyway, here's another MAC Venomous Villains inspired look using the She Who Dares mineralize eyeshadow from the Maleficent collection along with a few other goodies :)

I'm still excited from MAC's latest Disney inspired collection "Venomous Villains", mainly due to me being a big child at heart. I even went to my parents house today because I realized I was missing my Sleeping Beauty DVD and it's not at their house either *sad face*, so I dunno where it is! I'm heartbroken, it's my all-time favorite Disney classic. I used to watch that movie every single day when I was little and re-enact the entire thing with my cousins and friends. It was an adorable obsession, so seeing the movie now at the near age of 30 just makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Anyway, Maleficent was definitely my favorite overall collection, and I wanted to do a simple look using the gorgeous mineralize eyeshadow "My Dark Magic".

I was watching Tanya, one of my favorite Youtube guru's, do a dramatically sexy and smokey purple eyeshadow look using a color that I've owned for a while and never used (shameful), so I decided to do a lighter, more playful spin on it. I haven't created a purple look for my blog yet and that's really sad because purple is actually one of my top three favorite colors to play around with. It really looks great with brown-eyes!

I did this Naked FOTD a few days ago, and since I'm home sick in bed I figured I'd post it. This is look number 4 of a promised 5-look series using the Urban Decay Naked palette. This look is perfect for work, or a quick everyday solution. I've done three smokey-eye looks with this palette already and promised to show you guys a softer, more wearable way to rock this gorgeous palette.
