Here's a little secret...this was my very first red lipstick that I paid over $10 for. It holds a special place in my heart -- and apparently my mom's makeup bag because for months she wouldn't give it back to me. Terrible, but I can't blame her because she looked amazing with it on. Kat Von D has a really great line of makeup and the prices aren't too shabby either, especially when you take the quality into account.

I finally got my hands on this gorgeous Memento Mori eyeshadow palette by Kat Von D. As I mentioned in my other Kat Von D post, I had been bs'ing on buying this one for some dumb lazy reason. I said "I don't wanna miss out on this, so lemme just go ahead and buy it". It's a great palette and the price is even more attractive. Costing about the same as just two MAC eyeshadows, you're getting seven gorgeous highly-pigmented shadows plus a cream shadow for just $34. I shouldn't have to emphasize how incredible that deal is.

It's a gross yet beautiful rainy Saturday. Gross if you have to be in the rain -- beautiful if you don't! I'm in the house cleaning, working, and trying to fight thru this fog of sleepiness that's smothering me like gravy on biscuits. I am so exhausted, for no apparent reason. Maybe it's the rain, maybe it's the 5 hours of sleep I'm running on -- who knows. Anyhoo, I wanted to show you guys what these uber-awesome Kat Von D palettes look like because they're absolute love. The fact you get eight highly-pigmented shadows for $34 in one artsy-fartsy palette is nothing short of amazing.
