Look up in the sky! It's a bird! No, wait...it's...and invisible plane.....with a pretty hot chick...sitting...in...an invisible...plane?? Yes, kids. It's Wonder Woman, and she has burst her way onto the cosmetic scene with her very own super-sized collection by MAC. We (makeup fiends) weren't expecting this baby to drop until Feb. 10, but we got it almost two weeks early. I placed my order that morning and got it the very next day. Overnight shipping is a beast!

So I got my MAC Style Curve lipstick last nite, and immediately snapped a few photos, comparison swatches, and tried it on. When I opened up, I immediately thought MAC accidentally sent me a Violetta lipstick instead lol. They're both very similar, but have subtle differences. They also have different finishes, which separates them, but again only slightly. Do you need both? Check out swatches and determine for yourself :)

Just wanted to do a really quick post for anyone wondering what a few of the newer MAC Stylishly Yours pigments look like on darker skin. I haven't been buying much makeup lately (don't worry, that will change lol), but ya'll know I'm a big pigment-whore. To continue with my recent little Sephora F&F haul, here are three NARS blushes that I picked up as well. I absolutely love NARS blushes, they are super high on my favorite blush list. I had ten shades already, but there were about six more that I wanted and now that list is down to three. I picked up Lovejoy, Amour and Torrid. Each NARS blush retails for $26 -- and I remember the good ol' days when NARS blushes were $25 a pop *sigh*...whatever lol, that damn dollar makes a difference!

I wish someone would have told me this movie The Blind Side was a tear-jerker because I'm about to cry off all my Maleficent makeup! Woooo *fans self* I'm a sucker for touching movies like this. Anyway, here's another MAC Venomous Villains inspired look using the She Who Dares mineralize eyeshadow from the Maleficent collection along with a few other goodies :)

I'm a fan of MAC, and feel they're a great overall brand and they tend to stay pretty consistent...but lots of us know that when it comes to the mascara department, they tend to drop the ball. I wasn't in a huge hurry to try this new Haute & Naughty Lash mascara, but after seeing several reviews and gathering that the overall reception has been positive, I decided to buy it and give it a try. It retails for $18 and offers you two choices -- you can either have a soft natural effect, or you can up the amp and do it big with bold dramatic lashes.
