I'm still excited from MAC's latest Disney inspired collection "Venomous Villains", mainly due to me being a big child at heart. I even went to my parents house today because I realized I was missing my Sleeping Beauty DVD and it's not at their house either *sad face*, so I dunno where it is! I'm heartbroken, it's my all-time favorite Disney classic. I used to watch that movie every single day when I was little and re-enact the entire thing with my cousins and friends. It was an adorable obsession, so seeing the movie now at the near age of 30 just makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Anyway, Maleficent was definitely my favorite overall collection, and I wanted to do a simple look using the gorgeous mineralize eyeshadow "My Dark Magic".

Oh boy, this took forever!! So many pictures. I'm exhausted. For those of you who follow me on twitter and have joined my facebook page (stab that "like" button, btw), you saw a few preview images from all the crap I bought from this massive MAC Venomous Villains collection. Monday night I raced home to make sure I'd be able to order everything I wanted before it sold out (which it did about 2 hours later). It was an exciting and stressful rush, because I always -- ALWAYS miss out on stuff! Not this time *evil laugh*

A few people on twitter asked me to do a MAC brush overview of the ones I own, and which five I recommend to start with. I figured it might prove to be helpful for some of you, so here we go! MAC is known for their amazing brushes and for the most part, the hype is very well deserved. I have to admit, my first MAC brush was a 168SE (special edition) and I was less than wow'd by it. I was like "This?? This is why everyone's drinking the MAC brush koolaid?? Girl bye!". It wasn't a terrible brush, but it wasn't connecting the hype dots for me at all. It was just okay at best. I would later find out why that brush sucked in comparison to the regular MAC brushes...

I was watching Tanya, one of my favorite Youtube guru's, do a dramatically sexy and smokey purple eyeshadow look using a color that I've owned for a while and never used (shameful), so I decided to do a lighter, more playful spin on it. I haven't created a purple look for my blog yet and that's really sad because purple is actually one of my top three favorite colors to play around with. It really looks great with brown-eyes!

Someone asked me to swatch the pigments from the Fabulous Feline's collection by MAC, so here we go. Four out of six pigments I already had. I didn't get the new Bloodline pigment because it literally sold out by the time I saw a decent swatch of it. Dah well..here are the other five...

Ughhh, I've been taken down by a cold but fighting very hard to get rid of it so I can live my life. Yesterday was complete and utter hell for me! People would call me on the phone just to hear me sound like Gucci Mane. Just horrible. Coughing, sneezing, stuffy everything, weak, unable to eat...the worst. Today I feel a lot better but still not 100%. I wanted to do a FOTD that uses colors based on how I feel. Dirty dark greenish golds, blacks, queasy purples...you get the picture..
