Hey guys! For this look I pulled out my trusty 'Get Baked' palette from Urban Decay. This was released last summer and I absolutely LOVE it. It's one of my favorites for a quick, everyday look. I love this one because I feel it really just enhances what I already have. It looks fabulous on brown skin ladies and if you can find it, I suggest you buy it. Not to worry if you can't find it. Urban Decay sells most of these shadows in singles, so you shouldn't have too many problems getting your sexy hands on it. But if you already have this palette, pull it out!

This is going to be a seriously long, but hopefully helpful post. Clearly, there are tons of people who attempt to buy MAC cosmetics from eBay. This is a mistake. Yea, there are sellers who sell authentic MAC, but that's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Once upon a time, it was actually safer to buy MAC items from eBay…it wasn't as easy as it is now to buy a total fake. It happened, but not as frequently as it does now. In fact, nowadays you're 10x's more likely to purchase a counterfeit item, than a real one. If I could physically show you what's wrong with the fakes on eBay, I would. But I'm going to try my best to explain to you what to look for. Don't get me wrong, eBay isn't the only place to get fake MAC makeup. Sites such as iOffer, Brush111, BombshellBargains (which sells both real and fake items), StrawberryNET, etc. have all been busted for selling inauthentic MAC items. One of the main problems is that it has gotten progressively harder to tell what is fake and what's real.

This past Monday, I took an early morning stroll to Macy's to visit one of my favorite MAC counters at Metro Center (in DC) to get a closer look at the Give Me Liberty of London collection. The girls there are so sweet and helpful, and you just can't beat that kinda customer service. There's one really gorgeous chick in particular who always helps me, I sadly don't know her name but she's breathtaking! Anyway, she helped me decide what I should get from this collection. The gorgeous spring-inspired white packaging with soft flowers and cute little birds really stood out. Sometimes I'm a sucker for packaging and I know I shouldn't be..but if its super cute and unique, then dammit, I probably gotta have it.

Oh yes baby! One of my absolute 'Holy Grail' lipsticks from MAC would have to be the gorgeous Rebel (satin - $14). Described as a "vivid pinkish-purple", I have worn this baby out and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It's one of the most gorgeous colors I've ever worn. It's a satin formula, which tends to be a little drying, but because this color is so beautiful I put up with it. But to be honest, I combat that by moisturizing the crap outta my lips prior to application to minimize the drying. This lipstick also stains a little...just a little. So even after you're done eating or drinking, it'll still be there, but it'll give your lips that "flushed" look. It's a very opaque shade, so you won't need to pile it on. My mom has tried this color and she loves it. I should buy her one so she can stop borrowing mine, but I'm telling you...brown girls, this color would look amazing on you!

I saw this collection online almost two months ago, and something inside me started shaking out of excitement. Either from that or all of that earl grey tea I had. I was overwhelmed by how HUGE this entire beast of a collection was. Mentally, I was all ready for it, but because of how let down I was with Hello Kitty (out of all that "cuteness", I wound up getting ONE item. Womp!), I knew I'd have to see this in person to really be able to get the full effect. I took a long lunch break and went to the MAC counter at Macy's by Metro Center. I walked around the entire counter maybe twice, because I just didn't see the damn thing. So I asked one of the girls where it was, and they had it in a corner hidden for some reason. She pulled everything out for me, and I immediately noticed how many of the colors looked like colors I already had. That was a disappointment, but not really -- saved me a few bucks!
