I am sittin' here like a big kid watching Beauty & The Beast, and got this urge to rock my snuggie and sit at my desk and write up this review for you lovely people. I wanted to show you all four of the Urban Decay Big Fatty colored mascaras ($17 each). I ordered these from Hautelook the last time they had an Urban Decay sale, and they were around $4/each, so...not a bad deal, right? Well...

I won't focus on the fact I received my package of Rock & Republic eyeshadows nearly a week late, but instead focus on how happy I am to finally have them. I haven't been this excited about a cosmetic brand for a long time, but Rock & Republic has made some awesome makeup. It's really a shame that they're discontinuing everything, but...I'm happy I was able to try out as many products as possible before they are gone forever.

Happy Sunday, guys! Hope your weekend has been going great so far, as we wind down and get ready to start another week. Today I wanted to review a mascara that I've been using for about two weeks now. It's the L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes mascara in "blackest-black", and I did purchase it quite a while ago but haven't gotten around to using it until recently. This mascara promises to define, volumize and lengthen your lashes without clumps. Does it deliver? Check it out...

Oh, Rock & Republic...how I adore thee! There isn't anything from the line that I've tried so far, and haven't loved or really liked. So far, it's a very solid cosmetic brand giving you your money's worth (and not many brands can deliver that). At first glance, all of the items are very pricey...but when you dig a little deeper and realize the great quality, packaging and overall awesomeness you're getting -- the prices are more than worth it. Just about every R&R product I've purchased has been from sort of sale. I recently picked up 12 of their eyeshadows, which I'll admit I wasn't in a big hurry to buy, but I'm glad I did. They're incredible.

I'm writing this post while listening to my favorite Lady Gaga song, Alejandro..so if I accidentally type out the lyrics somewhere in this post, forgive me. I'm not your babe, Fernando. So I was recently contacted by Alima Pure -- a small mineral makeup company (based in Oregon) specializing a super wide range of foundations for the cool, the neutral, the olive, the warm and more. They also have a crapload of eyeshadow colors and cheek colors to boot! I'm very interested in their foundations because I am olive-toned, and you don't always find foundations for those specific skin-tones. I use Bare Minerals foundation in "Tan", and it works, but I'm really curious to see if I'd like Alima's "Olive" range better. Anyway, I was sent a few samples from their new holiday collection called "Fairy Tale".

Am I the only one who dreads removing eye makeup? Like, it's not bad to the point where I just won't wear eye makeup at all, but it's definitely the one part I "sigh" over lol. Maybe I'm just lazy. Anyhooburgers, TheBalm makes an eye-makeup remover in a super cute tin container called Balms Away ($20), that's supposed to allow for super easy and super quick makeup removal. I've always wanted to try it, so I finally bought it and here's what happened...though I must warn you, some gross images are full-speed ahead!
