Happy Sunday! The weather is absolutely gorgeous today. Not a breath of humidity, the birds are chirping, the sun is shining. It doesn’t smell like raw booty outside either. I love this kinda weather! I feel like I’m in LA or something, its just perfect. Oh, and Starz was showing Hook — one of my all-time favorite movies ever, earlier when I got the wild hair up my butt to do this look. This is one of my favorite looks to do because it’s fresh, easy and quick. It opens up the eyes beautifully and the sexy pop of green really takes it from neutral-schmuetral to something very special. You don’t have to wear typical bright shades the entire summer, so don’t feel like you’re obligated to. In fact, bronzey/golden hues are incredibly gorgeous in the summer, especially with a touch of color added. See for yourself

I did a video tutorial for this look, but my camera shut off (dead battery) right as I was finishing it up. I’m not taping it over either dammit. So I’m just warning you guys NOW, that a chunk may be missing. I’ll update this post with the video when I publish it to youtube tomorrow
In other non-related news, I tried sushi for the FIRST-TIME-EVER-IN-LIFE last Sunday when I took my mom out for Mother’s Day, and I am hooked! I know, I know…I’m later than FEMA. I love this stuff, and I’m ashamed that I’ve never had the sticky-rice-balls to dive into this yummy delicacy earlier. What the hell was I thinking? Well, I tried a few different rolls since then, and so far my favorite is the Shrimp Tempura and Easter Roll. Everyone keeps telling me to try the Spicy Tuna Roll, and although raw fish is an absolute and automatic “HAILNAW” for me, I might try it anyway. Here I am telling ya’ll not to be afraid of bright, bold colors…and I’m terrified of sushi. So very sad. I love it now, though
very very tasty…

Yummmmm!!
-Stay beautiful

Oh this is so cute. The teal liner really makes it pop. I’m going to have to try this soon. I just have to say I just came across your blog the other day and I’m lovin it. Oh and don’t let the raw food ick you out, spicy tuna is sooo good.
Thanks hun, I appreciate it! Yea I’m definitely gonna try the tuna next time. but i am nervous as all hell lol.
This look is so pretty! Can’t wait to see the video. Question tho: i liked the tip you gve about setting your lowerlash eyeliner, because mine tends to run all over my face too….do you have similar problems with this colored eyeliner on your waterline? I’m afraid to try colored ones because I am already challenged with the black liner. lol.
And yes! Try the spicy tuna roll! I’ve been a sushi fan since college but I have finally graduated up to the more raw of the fishies and spicy tuna is my standard favorite.
Thanks Liz! To be honest, I don’t experience the same kinda running with this pearlglide pencil the way I do with your standard eyeliner. It’s weird. It does melt a bit but its not as bad as what I’m used to, so I don’t usually set this one. I’ll just keep it in my purse and touch up if I have to. You could set this one though, but of course use a similar shadow or you could use a translucent setting powder
and girl you are the 99th person to tell me to try the spicy tuna. dammit, i will make sure i eat it next time i hit up the sushi bar. if people i know who are the pickiest eaters are telling me how good it is, then its worth a shot!
Very pretty! I will have to start putting different colored eyeliners on my waterline. Thanks for that!
So cute . . . I can definitely wear this look to work. I’m going to pick up the Indianwood p/p tomorrow at the MAC to the beach launch party.
Question . . . where did you get the tray holding your paintpots? Those suckers pile up quick and I need a way to organize them.
Gorgeous look. I love using a colored eye liner to make the eyes pop. And red lips are always plus.
Glad you love sushi now. I’ve been on it for a few years. It’s really addictive. Any place that serves sushi, I have to stop and try it!
oooooh I love it! I love neutrals..i’m going to try and do this look, green is my favourite colour and I love the indianwood PP!
I love this look!! I love wearing neutral colors on the lid and then have a pop of color on the bottom lash line.
Sushi is soo good!! Definetely try the spicy tuna roll. The spider roll is also good. It’s deep fried crab rolled in a roll. Sooooo nummy!!
