Ooooh the taboo subject of...*whispers*...facial hair!! Ok well maybe it's not "taboo", but it's one of those things most women aren't comfortable talking about -- understandably. I'm gonna attempt to break that ice for you all, because it is something that so many of us face and stress over quietly. I launched Accidental Beauty back in April of 2010 and so far it's been really fun meeting other makeup fiends, beauty enthusiasts and newbies who are just starting out and looking for tips and tricks. I seriously appreciate all of the love and support I've gotten so far, you guys mean the world to me. I hope to continue this blog for a very long time because it's my baby. I may not get to update every single day like I'd want to (work, life, etc.) but I try to put my all into each post because you guys deserve honesty. There is one problem I have though...I have sooo many things to talk about I sometimes don't even know where to begin!! Oh Chanel, how you make my heart pitter-patter with the stroke of your fabulous mascara...with the blackest formula I've ever used! I absolutely love and adore this mascara and need it in my life. I'm no mascara snob, I'll try just about any one from the cheapest drugstore mascara to the most high-end "price of my gas tank" mascara. Why? Because when it comes to makeup -- you're never satisfied and you always wanna keep trying different brands to compare them, test them out, etc. Chanel is one of my favorites, and not because it's "Chanel"...but because it really tickles my eyelash pickle.

I've been wanting to try a blue mascara for the longest, and Hautelook had a sale on Blinc mascara ($25) so I figured I'd take advantage. Blue mascara has a benefit of making the whites of your eyes appear whiter and more awake. I'm not going to give this mascara a complete review (with grade, pros and cons) just yet because I've only worn it twice and I'm still testing it out. I want to try layering it with other mascaras to see what happens, but here's an "so far" review for you...

Smokey eyes are probably the most popular way to pimp your eyelids. There are so many ways to smoke out your eye -- and not look like a panda in the process. Insert the NYX Winter in Moscow Smokey Look palette ($19.50); a handbook sized folding palette with a mirror, 2 blushes and 5 lip colors on one side, and 14 eyeshadows and applicators on the other side. Green is one of my favorite colors, especially when it comes to makeup. Greens and purples are everything! Yesterday I wanted to play around in the gorgeous green by MAC called Sassy Grass that came out with the Dare to Wear collection. If you don't know anything about me, please know that I am all about simple makeup looks. I only tend to do something super avant-garde when I'm either bored or for a special occasion. This look here, is a very simple one consisting of just three eyeshadows.
