I'm so excited! I reached out to this gorgeous young lady to do a guest FOTD for my blog and she happily and beautifully obliged. I love her looks and wanted to show her off so here she is, with her spin on MAC's upcoming holiday collection "A Tartan Tale". She was inspired by the promo pic and in my opinion...she rocked it!

True story: I was randomly (and I mean, super randomly) looking at this Tracy Anderson video and noticed a product being used on her called Prtty Peaushun ($36 - pronounced Pretty Potion) and being the product junkie that I am, it stuck out to me. Seriously, a week later I got an email from the creator herself (Bethany Karlyn), asking if I'd like to try it. I couldn't believe the coincidence! Anyway, here we are...I've been testing this product for about two weeks and here are my thoughts.

After months of saving up, weeks of feverish anticipation, and "Hmmm, should I buy these Louboutin's instead?"...I buckled down and realized that I'd have way more fun with a super dope camera than a sexy pair of heels I couldn't sleep, shower, or run in -- and for the price, I better be able to do all of these things in those shoes! I've always wanted a DSLR, from way back in the day when my friend Anna used to post amazing photos in her flickr account from her sexy little Canon Rebel. I've been using Canon's all my "point-n-shoot" life, and I've always loved them and felt a strong sense of loyalty to the brand. I considered Nikon for a second, but realized I'm way more familiar with Canon. I'm one of those people who, when it comes to a big purchase -- I like to wait. I wait until a version comes out that SCREAMS at me, and finally in 2010 the Canon EOS 60D ($1399.99 $1266.00) was banging on my window like BUY ME! The articulating screen is really what did it. I have that same kinda screen on my current Powershot A620 and I know first hand how important it is for getting really good shots, and for video.

The 42-color Double Stack palette is one that I've been wanting to try for a long time, after hearing great things about it. It retails for around $24.95 at Coastal Scents, and comes with 42 matte shades, although some shades have a subtle hint of sheen. There are 10 blushes underneath the eyeshadows, along with some application tools. Those of you on a tight budget, check out swatches and a review to see if this palette is for you...

I'm giving away one of my favorite products from the recent (and 90% sold out) MAC Venomous Villians collection. One lucky reader will receive a brand new Wicked Ways lipglass ($15.50)! It's from the Cruella portion of the collection, a beautiful deep fuchsia with pink pearl that looks amazing over red lips or even worn alone.

Am I the only one who dreads removing eye makeup? Like, it's not bad to the point where I just won't wear eye makeup at all, but it's definitely the one part I "sigh" over lol. Maybe I'm just lazy. Anyhooburgers, TheBalm makes an eye-makeup remover in a super cute tin container called Balms Away ($20), that's supposed to allow for super easy and super quick makeup removal. I've always wanted to try it, so I finally bought it and here's what happened...though I must warn you, some gross images are full-speed ahead!
