I can't remember which lovely lady asked me to swatch my Ben Nye Lumiere palette, but I thought today would be a great day to oblige her :) Hope this is helpful for those of you curious about Ben Nye's eyeshadows and other fabulous perks.

Lately, it seems like every cosmetic company is promising that they have "the blackest" eye liner EVAR!! And me being the curious little makeup junkie that I am, I tend to wanna try all of the "blackest" eye liners ever made -- but at a moderate pace. I'm in no real hurry because I've been more than satisfied with my Urban Decay 24/7 eye liners for years, however this Too Faced Liquid Lava Matte eye liner was on sale so I had to pick it up. It retails for $16.50 and comes in a short 0.11 oz stick that is about as tall the average middle finger.

I should've posted this BEFORE the maintenance took place (don't hate me), but we're doing a bit of heavy-duty work around this splendiferous lil beauty blog. Much needed "can no longer wait" kinda maintenance. First major headache was just moving this site to a brand spankin' new host and speedy server. I am just about moved all the way in, the only issue to tackle now is email. If anything else acts funky, they're just aftershocks and should be fixed soon. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, or depression due to my site being down for almost 4 whole hours (LOL!). I'm hoping that all of these unexpected kinks we're experiencing here will assure a better situation for the long haul. Thanks for all of the continued support -- and patience ;)
