I did this Naked FOTD a few days ago, and since I'm home sick in bed I figured I'd post it. This is look number 4 of a promised 5-look series using the Urban Decay Naked palette. This look is perfect for work, or a quick everyday solution. I've done three smokey-eye looks with this palette already and promised to show you guys a softer, more wearable way to rock this gorgeous palette.

Someone asked me to swatch the pigments from the Fabulous Feline's collection by MAC, so here we go. Four out of six pigments I already had. I didn't get the new Bloodline pigment because it literally sold out by the time I saw a decent swatch of it. Dah well..here are the other five...

Ughhh, I've been taken down by a cold but fighting very hard to get rid of it so I can live my life. Yesterday was complete and utter hell for me! People would call me on the phone just to hear me sound like Gucci Mane. Just horrible. Coughing, sneezing, stuffy everything, weak, unable to eat...the worst. Today I feel a lot better but still not 100%. I wanted to do a FOTD that uses colors based on how I feel. Dirty dark greenish golds, blacks, queasy purples...you get the picture..

I have sooo many NYX eyeshadows it's not even funny. Because I'm dedicated to helping you guys out, I'm going to slowly swatch them in batches so those of you who are looking for great inexpensive ways to beat your face, can know what to expect. NYX is one of my favorite low-end brands, and they seem to get more things right than wrong. A while ago I bought several of their Ultimate Pearl Shadows ($7) when they went on sale (I don't remember how much I paid), and for the most part they're pretty damn decent.

Recently Smashbox had a great sale and being the cheapo that I am, I had to snatch up that pretty little Hot Date eyeshadow palette and I was also sent some other tiny items, which was really sweet of them :)

Here's a recipe for a dessert I made a few nights ago and completely went goo-goo over. It was so delicious, simple and easy. This is something a kitchen-novice can make in less than 5 minutes. Great for boo's, husbands, wives, kids, anyone who loves strawberries and decadence. This recipe is nothing more than a spin on the classic "Strawberry Shortcake".
