My name is Resha, and I’m a self-proclaimed nerd obsessed with all things beauty related. I’ve been a nerd, coding and designing websites for over a decade and it will always be my first love (aside from my kid, Ruben – pictured blow. I’m 30 years old this November, from Virginia and I work full-time for an awesome web design company in DC. I love what I do, and I love designing…however, when it comes to the super cute girly stuff, it makes me just as happy. I love talking about makeup, beauty products, etc. with other makeup lovers and sharing ideas, tips and tricks.

As a woman of color, I feel it’s important to offer a sense of comfort to other women of color by letting them know it’s OKAY for us to wear bold, bright colors. Too many of us are stuck in the neutral rut. Seriously, because of our gorgeous varying shades, bold and bright colors look amazing on us. However, we also run into problems such as picking the right foundation shade, combatting combo/oily skin, hyperpigmentation etc. My goal is to be able to help you learn how to find your correct foundation shade and pair up awesome eyeshadow combinations.
