I was watching Tanya, one of my favorite Youtube guru's, do a dramatically sexy and smokey purple eyeshadow look using a color that I've owned for a while and never used (shameful), so I decided to do a lighter, more playful spin on it. I haven't created a purple look for my blog yet and that's really sad because purple is actually one of my top three favorite colors to play around with. It really looks great with brown-eyes!

I did this Naked FOTD a few days ago, and since I'm home sick in bed I figured I'd post it. This is look number 4 of a promised 5-look series using the Urban Decay Naked palette. This look is perfect for work, or a quick everyday solution. I've done three smokey-eye looks with this palette already and promised to show you guys a softer, more wearable way to rock this gorgeous palette.

Ughhh, I've been taken down by a cold but fighting very hard to get rid of it so I can live my life. Yesterday was complete and utter hell for me! People would call me on the phone just to hear me sound like Gucci Mane. Just horrible. Coughing, sneezing, stuffy everything, weak, unable to eat...the worst. Today I feel a lot better but still not 100%. I wanted to do a FOTD that uses colors based on how I feel. Dirty dark greenish golds, blacks, queasy purples...you get the picture..

Here we go, UD Naked Palette look number three! This is the last smokey eye I'll do with this palette, because I want to show you guys some softer looks with the last two I have lined up. This look is dramatic -- but wearable. Depending on how "strict" your office environment is, you might be able to get away with wearing this to work.
