Look up in the sky! It's a bird! No, wait...it's...and invisible plane.....with a pretty hot chick...sitting...in...an invisible...plane?? Yes, kids. It's Wonder Woman, and she has burst her way onto the cosmetic scene with her very own super-sized collection by MAC. We (makeup fiends) weren't expecting this baby to drop until Feb. 10, but we got it almost two weeks early. I placed my order that morning and got it the very next day. Overnight shipping is a beast!

Oh boy, this took forever!! So many pictures. I'm exhausted. For those of you who follow me on twitter and have joined my facebook page (stab that "like" button, btw), you saw a few preview images from all the crap I bought from this massive MAC Venomous Villains collection. Monday night I raced home to make sure I'd be able to order everything I wanted before it sold out (which it did about 2 hours later). It was an exciting and stressful rush, because I always -- ALWAYS miss out on stuff! Not this time *evil laugh*

Talk about long overdue! I know I'm later than FEMA posting this, but there are several reasons I waited so long. I'll spare you those, and just get down to business. As most of you know, MAC released a much anticipated Summer collection called To the Beach around two weeks ago -- full of typical summery shades. Beautiful bronze colors, electric greens, cool corals, etc. One of the most coveted items from the collection literally sold out within three hours...and left a lot of people high and dry.

I am so so so glad that the new MAC Prêt-à-Papier collection was as underwhelming as it was. I can't afford to drop too much money on these seemingly-weekly collections MAC puts out. Sheesh! I've learned that no matter how fabulous a collection sounds and may look from afar, you always wanna swatch the products in the store to see what you're getting. The blushes from the collection weren't anything special to me, none of the lipsticks screamed "YOU MUST HAVE ME!!", and the lipglasses were pretty...but I only picked up one. C-thru was repromoted, but it's permanent so you can buy that anytime, and Fold and Tuck is gorgeous...but it looks like other lipglasses I already have. Womp.

This past Monday, I took an early morning stroll to Macy's to visit one of my favorite MAC counters at Metro Center (in DC) to get a closer look at the Give Me Liberty of London collection. The girls there are so sweet and helpful, and you just can't beat that kinda customer service. There's one really gorgeous chick in particular who always helps me, I sadly don't know her name but she's breathtaking! Anyway, she helped me decide what I should get from this collection. The gorgeous spring-inspired white packaging with soft flowers and cute little birds really stood out. Sometimes I'm a sucker for packaging and I know I shouldn't be..but if its super cute and unique, then dammit, I probably gotta have it.

I saw this collection online almost two months ago, and something inside me started shaking out of excitement. Either from that or all of that earl grey tea I had. I was overwhelmed by how HUGE this entire beast of a collection was. Mentally, I was all ready for it, but because of how let down I was with Hello Kitty (out of all that "cuteness", I wound up getting ONE item. Womp!), I knew I'd have to see this in person to really be able to get the full effect. I took a long lunch break and went to the MAC counter at Macy's by Metro Center. I walked around the entire counter maybe twice, because I just didn't see the damn thing. So I asked one of the girls where it was, and they had it in a corner hidden for some reason. She pulled everything out for me, and I immediately noticed how many of the colors looked like colors I already had. That was a disappointment, but not really -- saved me a few bucks!
