Hello, lovlies! As some of you may know, I'm giving the "natural hair" thing a shot. The last time I had a relaxer was just about a year ago, and I've been transitioning ever since. I've cut nearly all of my relaxed ends off, and I'm nursing my hair to complete and overall health. I've been doing a great job so far, and I don't think my hair has ever been as healthy as it is now. I've been taking all of your suggestions from my last post into consideration, trying some of the products mentioned and right now I want to review my hands-down favorite conditioner (so far) that I've been using on my natural hair journey -- Oyin Handmade HoneyHemp Conditioner!

I'm writing this post while listening to my favorite Lady Gaga song, Alejandro..so if I accidentally type out the lyrics somewhere in this post, forgive me. I'm not your babe, Fernando. So I was recently contacted by Alima Pure -- a small mineral makeup company (based in Oregon) specializing a super wide range of foundations for the cool, the neutral, the olive, the warm and more. They also have a crapload of eyeshadow colors and cheek colors to boot! I'm very interested in their foundations because I am olive-toned, and you don't always find foundations for those specific skin-tones. I use Bare Minerals foundation in "Tan", and it works, but I'm really curious to see if I'd like Alima's "Olive" range better. Anyway, I was sent a few samples from their new holiday collection called "Fairy Tale".

Did you take advantage of Sephora's recent Friends & Family sale? I wasn't going to...but then I naturally broke down and went for it. I honestly didn't know what I was gonna buy, so I said to myself "Sephora never offers free shipping or any decent discount, so I'm gonna buy a few items I'd normally hold off on". The next few posts will highlight those purchases. I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy -- at least that's what I keep telling myself :D So here are two lovely YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks in Red Taboo (#18) and Exquisite Plum (#22). Both retail for $34 each, making them my most expensive lipstick purchases to date...

Ooooh the taboo subject of...*whispers*...facial hair!! Ok well maybe it's not "taboo", but it's one of those things most women aren't comfortable talking about -- understandably. I'm gonna attempt to break that ice for you all, because it is something that so many of us face and stress over quietly. Lots of women refuse to go out in public donning their 2 o'clock shadows in an effort to get it removed professionally. Well now you really don't have to.

Oh Chanel, how you make my heart pitter-patter with the stroke of your fabulous mascara...with the blackest formula I've ever used! I absolutely love and adore this mascara and need it in my life. I'm no mascara snob, I'll try just about any one from the cheapest drugstore mascara to the most high-end "price of my gas tank" mascara. Why? Because when it comes to makeup -- you're never satisfied and you always wanna keep trying different brands to compare them, test them out, etc. Chanel is one of my favorites, and not because it's "Chanel"...but because it really tickles my eyelash pickle.
