True story: I was randomly (and I mean, super randomly) looking at this Tracy Anderson video and noticed a product being used on her called Prtty Peaushun ($36 -- pronounced Pretty Potion) and being the product junkie that I am, it stuck out to me. Seriously, a week later I got an email from the creator herself (Bethany Karlyn), asking if I’d like to try it. I couldn’t believe the coincidence! Anyway, here we are…I’ve been testing this product for about two weeks and here are my thoughts.
Check out this video…
You get 8 oz. of product per package. Here’s what PRTTY Peaushun claims to do:
The name is different, the packaging is unique, the product is AMAZING. Have you ever wanted those sexy, glowing, legs that all of the female stars seem to have? Well, Prtty Peaushun (which means feminine skin) has your answer. But why just use this on the legs? Get glowing ALL OVER!! This product created by Hollywood makeup artist Bethany Karlyn not only looks gorgeous on, but, contains 92% raw ingredients that can help improve the condition of your skin as well!
This fragrance free, as we like to call it, “liquid gold” goes on like a lotion, comes in five alluring colors -- plain, light, medium, dark, and deep dark. Prtty Peaushun evens out skin tone and enhances muscle tone (have you headed over to the site to order yet?) The “anti-packaging” design takes up minimal space in landfills, and has a clean dispense mechanism. Yes, you get every last drop of this luscious lotion!
Slather on a flattering glow that will help diminish the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks, and all the other imperfections many of us have. So, what are you waiting for? GET GLOWING!

I want to make sure I help give you guys realistic expectations with this (or any) product. This isn’t a concealer. It’s not a full-coverage foundation for the body. It’s not going to hide up your bullet holes and stab wounds. What it will do, is enhance your own skin to be a beautiful glowing version of itself, as if you were wearing sheer pantyhose. I’ve seen it referred to as “liquid gold” and that’s a very accurate description. It will give you beachy glow — no Snookie. In photos, the light reflecting particles will help hide some of your own minor and subtle imperfections. I doubt this is meant to be used as your normal every day lotion — but it’s perfect for those times you’re hardly dressed (or not dressed at all). It takes about a few minutes to fully dry, and even then it may very slightly rub off on your clothing. But again, this is for those times you’re either hardly dressed or not dressed at all. The tagline on the back clearly states “Look great in your birthday suit!”
The packaging ensures that you get every single bit out so none of its wasted — and I love that! Bethany sent me the color “Dark”, which matched my skin perfectly. I’ve been applying this stuff to my arms and chest, and any other area that I know will be exposed. This lotion will give you very sheer to lightweight coverage, and instead of thinking of it as full-on body makeup, you should consider it a gorgeous veil that will take your dull lifeless skin to a glowing golden edge. Despite all of the cool things about it, it’s actually moisturizing! My arms and chest area are soft and smooth and hydrated. It’s not streaky or messy at all and it really soaks into the skin well. It has a very, very light citrus scent from the natural ingredients that I really like.
I think this stuff would be faaaabulous for summer, or for anyone lucky enough to not be living in 40 degree temperatures right now lol. It’s also beautiful for photos, photoshoots, a night out, sexy nights with your significant other *ahem*…seriously! Imagine laying across the bed in a candlelit room, with your skin glowing — your S/O won’t be able to keep his or her hands off of you! Girl…
Overall, I’m loving this stuff so far. I would say it’s expensive, but I’ve come to grips with paying more money for stuff with better ingredients — but that’s just me. And honestly with PRTTY Peaushun, you’re paying for the product here — not the packaging. I really wish I had it to test out during the blazing hot summer months when super short skirts were a must. It’s becoming “scarves & boots” season in the DC area so I can’t really strut my stuff right about now, but seeing as how this stuff has a shelf life of 8 months or so, I’ll be able to really use it after these freezing cold months pass us by. I haven’t been able to use it long enough to speak about it’s “lifting” and “firming” capabilities, which is why I can only rate it a B+ so far..
Here is the product tested on real women (photos included) to give you even more of an idea of how this stuff looks on other skin tones. Sorry, but I wasn’t about to strip down for ya’ll LOL! Check out the blog too
