Finally!! After numerous false-hope emails from Sephora saying “Oh, this palette is back in stock”, only to find out that it wasn’t…I placed my order at Ulta. Yes folks, the elusive Urban Decay Naked Palette ($44) is all mine! Personally, I feel the hype is well deserved. This is an amazing product you guys…foreal…I shoulda bought two!
If you missed out all those times like I did, place your orders now. You can also call to see if they have them at the actual Ulta store and just drive over and get one. I called my Ulta and they weren’t in stock at that time but they’re probably there now.
Urban Decay has included 12 beautiful neutral colors in a gorgeous brown velvet mirrored package with stark gold lettering. It’s a lint-catcher, so be aware lol. Aside from the 12 almost full-size eyeshadows (reg. full-size shadows are 1.5 grams, these are just 1.3 grams) in this palette, you get a double-ended 24/7 liner pencil with Zero (black) on one end and Whiskey (dark reddish brown) on the other end. By the way, UD’s Zero liner is my faaavorite black eyeliner, but we’ll get into that later. Last but not least, it includes a baby Primer Potion with the tilted doe-foot wand to help scrape even more product from the sides of the tube. For those who don’t know, the Primer Potion is what you use to keep your eyeshadow vibrant, true to color and most importantly — long lasting. The value is incredible.

When I examined this palette, I really really liked it…
I didn’t love it until I started swatching it. The eyeshadow’s are very pigmented and smooth, and the colors are so lovely. This entire palette is perfection. I didn’t swatch the pencils yet, but I will and update this post later (it’s late lol). The Naked palette is PERFECT for every-day looks, at-work looks, any kinda look. If you’re into neutrals, this is a must have. It’s convenient to throw in your travel bag and with twelve shadows, you’ll never run out of color combination’s. I have to say that this is my favorite eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay — everything about it is just right. There aren’t any colors in here that I dislike, I love them all.
Please note that this palette (although sold out just about everywhere) is NOT limted edition, so don’t do yourself an expensive disservice and buy this on eBay for $80 or more. It’s not that serious, I promise you. Just check out Ulta and if it’s gone there, relax…it’ll be back in stock soon. I don’t think Urban Decay anticipated the demand, but they’re on it and will satisfy your naked cravings as soon as possible 
PS. I will swatch the pencils tomorrow, it’s too dark and I won’t get a good picture

I didn’t plan on buying this palette, but after all this hype from everyone, I have to get one. I don’t do neutral because I am a darker girl, so I always think some of those colors make me look ashy. I will give it try after looking at your swatches. Thanks!

When this palette first came out, I just blew it off thinking that it was nothing much and pretty dupable with the colors that I already own, but now…the more I see it the more I want it. Your swatches/review are not helping me!!!!!!
I am trying to stay strong, but I have a feeling this palette is going to be coming home with me. It includes some UD colors that I have been drooling over for quite some time now.

I DEFINITELY have to have this palette. Everything from Urban Decay I love. I use their primer potion, eyeshadows, & eye liner, and never nothing bad. This will be well worth it!

I have had this palette for a few weeks now, and I am in LOVE! The colors are fantastic and it’s just so portable! I feel so awful because I haven’t used any of my MAC shadows since I got this thing

This palette is the bomb diggity!! Ever since I got it I’ve been using it everyday. All of my other shadows and palettes have been chucked to the side. I don’t know if its because its new, or so easy to create new looks or what, but I’m loving the Naked palette. The eyeliners are also fantastic!! I’ve used an UD liner before, (the brown one with gold flecks I don’t remember the name of it) and I didn’t like it at all, but these are creamy and long lasting. Thanks for the review and the FOTD blog posts. I’m looking forward to youtube tuts from you using this palette!
